FAMU Marching 100 to be featured in iHeartRadio’s HBCU Marching Band Experience

TALLAHASSEE, Fla — On Nov. 12, the Florida A&M University marching band, The Marching 100, will be featured in iHeartRadio’s HBCU Marching Band Experience as part of the iHeartRadio HBCU Homecoming Celebration. In a “never-before-seen” virtual experience, four competing marching bands, Hampton University, North Carolina A&T, FAMU, and Prairie View A&M will be brought together to perform “in unity.”

This virtual event will be streamed online from 7:00 a.m.-7:15 a.m. ET on iHeartRadio’s YouTube channel, here, and on Facebook Live, here. The Marching Band Experience will be the first event of iHeartRadio’s annual iHeartRadio HBCU Homecoming Celebration.

The homecoming celebration will also include a live streamed discussion on female entrepreneurship hosted by Angela Yee and presented by Ulta Beauty, and concluding with a performance by artist H.E.R from 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. ET, then end with a “Party on the Yard” from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. ET presented by McDonald’s Black and Positively Golden and hosted by DJ Envy, then conclude with a performance by artist Khalid.
