This year’s Florida Animation Festival will be held virtually this year due to COVID-19 concerns. Presented by the Tallahassee Film Society, the multi-day long festival will be streamed online for attendees from June 11, 2020-June 14, 2020. This year will be the Florida Animation Festival’s 5th annual event and it will look vastly different compared to prior years.

The lineup for this year’s festival now includes extra films due to the updated format of the festival. “We received many amazing submissions and wish we could screen them all, so we’re doing the next best thing and screening a whole lotta ’em,” the Florida Animation Festival said. “Though we wish we could show you these great films in person, an online format has allowed us to show even more animated films than ever before.”

Launched in 2016, both regional and global talent is highlighted at this festival. The Pod Advertising Agency, along with the Tallahassee Film Society, began the festival to showcase animated films from across the world.

You can view trailers for the of the films that will be presented, purchase a single viewing of specific films for $2 each, or purchase an all-access pass to the online festival, here. “Without you guys this wouldn’t have been possible, thank you for your dedication to making our festival a success, we love you!”
