TALLAHASSEE, Fla — From Friday, Nov., to Sunday, Nov. 8, the North Florida Fair will be hosting a carnival food fair in lieu of the annual North Florida Fair. Each day from 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., the carnival will be open on site at the North Florida Fairgrounds located at 441 Paul Russell Rd.
This fall’s North Florida Fair event was canceled amid COVID-19 concerns. In place of the fun, family-friendly weekend event, this special event is predicted to satisfy fair food cravings and offer a taste of the North Florida Fair in a safer manner. Fan favorites, such as funnel cakes, corn dogs, elephant ears, kettle corn, and more will be sold by 15-20 food vendors on site.
Face coverings are to be worn while in attendance. Payment stations will be sanitized between uses and picnic tables will be placed six feet apart from each other on the grass. Those who wish to take their food elsewhere may purchase their treats to-go.
Admission to the carnival food fair is free, parking is free, and the event is open to all.
