The first Tallahassee Balloon Festival will take place on March 20, 2020, and March 21, 2020, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Hosted by the North Florida Fair and the Tallahassee Balloon Festival, this ticketed event will be held on site at the North Florida Fairgrounds, which is located at 441 Paul Russell Road.
This family-friendly event will include hot air balloon rides, food vendors, live music from local artists, laser shows, and more. A kid’s zone with bounce houses, mechanical bulls, trains, bungee jumps, and more will also be on site. The Kids Zone requires tickets ranging in price from $1-$15 for unlimited rides. Proceeds from these tickets will benefit Special Olympics of Leon County.
At 8:00 p.m., a 1-hour long laser and music show, accompanied by “visually stunning coordinated burns by the hot air balloons,” will begin.“Bring your blankets, chairs and umbrellas and set up your own viewing spot!” the hosts encourage. In addition to the food, shows, music, games, rides, and balloon viewings, craft and retail vendors will also be selling their products.
Ticket prices range from $7.50-$25.00 for children and $10.00-$35.00 for adults, and can be purchased online, here. RSVP to this event, and share with friends and family on Facebook, here.
