Swellcoin — Swellcoin, which was founded in 2017, is a unique loyalty program that helps local businesses in Tallahassee give rewards to consumers based on their purchases. This app lets you link your credit/debit cards with the program, then, when purchasing items from businesses that are connected with Swellcoin, earn 1%-20% back your purchase. One Fresh Pillow  — One Fresh Pillow, which launched in 2016, is a unique type of pillow that enables better sleep and neck/head positioning while sleeping. Powered by a subscription service, One Fresh Pillow, which is owned and operated by Aron and Adrianne Kautz, sends out 1 to 4 pillows yearly for just $75 to their subscribers. Divvup Socks — Divvyup, a custom sock company that was the brainchild of 3 Florida State University students, Jason McIntosh, Spencer Bluni, and Mitch Nelson, was launched in 2014. For every pair of socks sold, a pair of socks is donated, in turn, to the local homeless shelter. This startup with a social conscious has 7,000-square-foot production facility here in town. Nudge App — This new app, which was launched by several Florida State University students in 2019, works to give app-users discounts on their favorite foods when they place large orders to restaurants. On the app, you make your order to your favorite restaurant, send the order link to friends, family, or co-workers, then they use that link to add their own food/payment method to the order, and you, the originator of the order, get a discount on your purchase.
